As part of a retrospective celebrating AVE’s 19 years with Vans, the brand released an electrifying video showcasing some of his most memorable skate moments, soundtracked by none other than the thrilling, pulse-pounding Phantasm chase theme.

Who knew the PHANTASM score would go so great with skating videos?!

Anthony Van Engelen is a name synonymous with pushing the boundaries of skateboarding. From his raw, uncompromising style to his fearless approach, AVE has been a major influence in the skate world for nearly two decades. To commemorate his latest signature shoe with Vans, the AVE 2.0, Vans put together a video that not only highlights his mastery of the sport but also pairs that intensity with powerful music. The use of "Mineshaft Chase" is a perfect fit, amplifying the energy and grit that define AVE's legacy.
