Phantasm Filming Locations: Reggie’s Ice Cream Shop and Morningside Main Street
As we begin to enter into Spring some delicious ice cream from Reggie’s Ice Cream shop sounds like just what the doctor ordered. Did you know you can still visit the actual ice cream shop and even order up some pints?

Many watchers of PHANTASM remember Reggie behind his truck on Morningside “Main Street” as Angus Scrimm goes walking by and young Mike looks on. What many never caught is that the store behind him is actually “Reggie’s Ice Cream Shop” in the film.

The inside of the mythical “Reggie’s Ice Cream Shop” is never shown in the original film.
However, Laserdisc, DVD, and BluRay collectors got to visit the store! In a deleted scene Mike, Reggie and Jody are hanging out in the shop and having lots of fun while drinking too much Dos Equis beer.

For those who live in Southern California or are visiting a great Phantasm outing would be to grab some ice cream in Alhambra, put it in your cooler, and then road trip over to Julian and walk Main Street just like The Tall Man did all of those years ago.
