Christopher L. Stone holds the distinction of working on every one of the Phantasm films. In an uncredited role, Mr. Stone was responsible for creating the voices of the evil dwarf-creatures, not only in the original Phantasm, but every subsequent sequel. Using then experimental electronic equipment including the Vocoder, and his own voice, Stone was able to craft a disturbing quality for these sound effects. In 1988, Chris returned to the Phantasm fold to perform the score to Phantasm II, in collaboration with Fred Myrow. For Phantasm III, Stone worked alongside Myrow as co-composer. The excellent score for Phantasm: Oblivion was an original creation of Stone's.
